List of products available depending on the type of document to reproduce and your use:

> "TEXT" type documents (printed text, manuscript text, press, musical score, etc.)
For reading use
Products offered:
  • Scanned text per page or in full in PDF format (black and white, grayscale depending on technical possibilities)
  • Photocopy on plain paper (black and white, A4 or A3 depending on the size of the original document)
> "IMAGE" type documents (photograph, print, illumination, illustration, map, etc.)
For illustration, publishing, or color or grayscale reproduction of a document
Products offered:
  • High-definition image in JPEG format (up to 24 MP - 72 MB)
  • Premium image in JPEG format (from 24 to 120 MP - from 72 to 360 MB)
  • Art reproduction, high-quality print on matte or glossy paper (from A4 to A0 depending on technical possibilities)
Our librarians have pre-selected the copy of the document and the products best suited for a quality reproduction. If these do not meet your needs, please contact us: reproduction@bnf.fr

If you wish to use the ordered documents for a paid product, service, event, or for promotional media, here are the (excl. VAT) fees per image used:

Inner page: 65 €
Vignette (< 1/8 page): 35 €
Cover: 180 €
> Web and mobile applications:75 €
> Audiovisual (all media):75 €
> Exhibition (excluding catalog and derivatives):75 €
> Advertising-communication, facsimiles and full reproduction, derivatives:negotiated rate

Discount based on the number of images used:from 10 to 19: -10%; from 20 to 29: -20%; from 30: negotiated rate
